Anubal Fusion is a technology-driven research company dedicated to advancing laser–matter interaction
studies and fusion-related science. Our team integrates precision laser systems with cutting-edge plasma
diagnostics to explore novel concepts in energy and particle generation.
Role Overview:
We are looking for motivated Junior Research Scientists to join our experimental laser–plasma interaction
group. The selected candidate will work on laboratory-scale high-intensity femtosecond/nanosecond laser
experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain high-power laser systems.
* Prepare and align optical setups for laser–target interaction experiments.
* Design, assemble, and calibrate diagnostic instruments.
* Acquire, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
* Collaborate with theoretical and simulation teams.
* Prepare technical reports, present findings, and publication preparation.
Required Qualifications:
* M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics / Photonics or B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Engineering Physics, Electrical, or related disciplines.
* Strong background in optics, lasers, or plasma physics.
* Prior experience with laboratory laser systems, vacuum setups, or optical instrumentation is desirable.
* Programming or data analysis skills (MATLAB, Python, or similar) are advantageous.
* Good teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
Salary and Duration:
* Based on experience; may increase based on performance.
* Initial tenure: 1 year, extendable based on performance and project needs.
