Battery Swapping Platform(skateboard) Design engineer

Responsible for designing and assisting in the development of the modular skateboard chassis, which forms the core structural platform of Blinq’s electric vehicles.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and contribute to the development of a modular skateboard chassis supporting advanced battery-swapping technology
• Ensure seamless battery swap operations through robust structural and mechanical design
• Design for reliable battery retention under all operating, dynamic, and abuse conditions
• Provide structural protection against under-body and upper-body impacts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design, prototyping, and testing phases
• Support iterative improvements based on validation and real-world testing feedback

Key Skills and Tools (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

• Structural load-path analysis and chassis dynamics
• Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, HyperMesh, SolidWorks Simulation)
• Real-world experience in component design, packaging, and integration
• Familiarity with materials and joining methods used in prototype vehicles

CAD design using SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent
