Swap Station Integration Engineer

Job Role

As a Swap Station Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the rail-guided automation systems used in Blinq Mobility’s battery-swapping platform. You will work on precise mechanical motion, actuation, sensing, and system integration to enable fast, safe, and reliable battery swaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop the rail-guided motion system for Blinq Mobility’s battery-swapping platform, ensuring precise and repeatable battery movement from the vehicle latching mechanism to the charging bay
• Automate the end-to-end battery-swapping process, including alignment, transfer, latching, and secure placement
• Integrate mechanical systems with actuators, sensors, and control logic for smooth and reliable operation
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to optimise system performance and system-level integration
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of rail-guided and automation systems under varied operational and environmental conditions

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on swap speed, positional accuracy, robustness, and operational reliability

Key Skills & Tools

• Fundamentals of mechatronics, robotics, and automation
• Understanding of control systems and motion planning
• Familiarity with linear actuators, motors, sensors, and guides
