The Design & Development Engineer will be responsible for understanding application requirements and converting them into feasible, manufacturable product solutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of product development — from concept, feasibility analysis, and prototyping to testing and validation support. This is a high-ownership role suited for engineers who can independently drive projects without hierarchical supervision
Translate application and performance requirements into detailed mechanical designs.
Develop innovative product architectures for electric motors and related systems.
Create high-quality 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks / Creo / equivalent).
Apply DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) principles to ensure feasibility, cost efficiency, and ease of production.
Implement and interpret GD&T standards for precise manufacturing and tolerance control.
Lead rapid prototyping cycles including design iterations, fitment checks, and functional validation.
Work closely with Testing & Validation teams to analyze prototype performance and refine designs.
Conduct design reviews and risk assessments in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Support FMEA activities from a design perspective and mitigate potential failure modes.
Select appropriate materials, manufacturing processes, and design strategies aligned with product objectives.
Maintain structured documentation including drawings, BOMs, revisions, and engineering change records.
Continuously improve product performance, durability, and cost through iterative development.
Take ownership of assigned development programs from concept through functional prototype stage
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
2–5 years of hands-on product design experience. Freshers with strong design fundamentals and hands-on project experience are also encouraged to apply
Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks / Creo / equivalent).
Deep understanding of DFMA principles and GD&T application.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, sheet metal, assembly).
Experience in rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles.
Strong problem-solving ability and ownership mindset

For Experienced Candidates:
The three months will be considered as a probation period.
After the successful completion of the probation period, the employee will be offered an annual CTC in the range of INR 8 LPA to 14 LPA
For Freshers
Appointment will be subject to a 6-month probation period.
CTC will range between INR 5 LPA to 7 LPA, depending on skills and performance during evaluation
