Job Description:
The Junior Mechanical Design Engineer will support the design, development, prototyping, testing, and documentation of components and subsystems for ROVs, AUVs, and underwater robotic inspection platforms. The role is hands-on, focusing on CAD modelling, tolerance stack-ups, rapid prototyping, assembly support, and iterative design improvements under the guidance of senior engineers.

Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mechanical components used in ROV/AUV systems. Assist in design changes and revisions.

Qualification / Certification Required:
Legal Qualification / Certification Required (Mandatory)
Preferred Qualification, Specialization, Experience for the position
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Completed or Pursuing B.E. in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience with SolidWorks; CAD certification is a plus.
Exposure to fabrication, machining, 3D printing, or hands-on prototyping.
Internship/academic project experience in robotics, mechanisms, or marine systems.
Basic understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with underwater systems, rotating equipment, or pressure vessels is a bonus (not mandatory).
