We are seeking a passionate and research-oriented Intern to work with the AI/Autonomy team to design and implement AI-driven control and stabilization algorithms for the tethered aerostat system.
Key Responsibilities
AI/ML Model Development
- Develop machine learning models for aerostat control and prediction
- Implement computer vision algorithms for surveillance payloads
- Work on sensor fusion and state estimation using AI techniques
- Support development of autonomous decision-making systems
Data Processing & Analysis
- Process and analyze flight data for model training
- Implement data pipelines for real-time inference
- Create visualization tools for AI model outputs
Deployment & Testing
- Deploy AI models on edge devices and embedded systems
- Support simulation and hardware-in-loop testing
- Document AI architectures, algorithms, and performance metrics
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Understanding of deep learning, computer vision, and reinforcement learning
- Knowledge of control systems and robotics is a plus
- Experience with edge AI deployment preferred
- Research-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
