Intern - Business Development

The Business Development (BD) Associate will play a key role in expanding Red Balloon Aerospace's footprint in the high-altitude platforms sector, including VISTA (stratospheric balloons), ALTIS (aerostats), and Cargo Airships.

Key Responsibilities

| Market Research & Analysis

• Research on defence, telecom, and logistics sectors for HAPS opportunities

• Analyze competitor landscape and market trends

• Identify potential customers, partners, and use cases

• Prepare market reports and business case presentations

| Lead Generation & Outreach

• Support lead generation through research and networking

• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and pitch decks

• Coordinate meetings with potential clients and partners

| Proposal & Documentation Support

• Help draft technical and commercial proposals

• Maintain CRM and track opportunity pipeline

• Support grant applications and funding proposals

• Pursuing or completed MBA or B.Tech with business interest

• Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools

• Understanding of aerospace/defence/telecom sectors preferred

• Self-motivated with ability to work independently

• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to learn
