About Rekise Marine
Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in the world's most hostile environments. We're executing India's flagship autonomous submarine project the Jalkapi XLAUV on order from the Indian Navy. This is an unmanned submarine weighing over 20 tons that can travel 5,000+ kilometers autonomously and operate in the ocean for 30+ days at a time.
We're creating some of the largest autonomous robots in the world, machines with direct impact on the global economy and national security. While autonomous cars in India may still be a dream, autonomous ships and submarines are already a reality, and it is possible to build for the world from India.

The Role
Our spaces from the corporate office to labs, workshops and field sites — are where ideas turn into breakthrough technologies. We're looking for a Facilities & Admin Manager who takes full ownership of creating and running these spaces, and of the entire administration function that keeps the company moving day to day.
This is a high-impact operational role with two halves. On the facilities side you'll run corporate, lab and workshop spaces across multiple locations, own preventive maintenance, safety and statutory compliance, and set up new facilities as we expand. On the administration side you'll own travel and accommodation, front office and visitor management, seating and asset allocation, employee services, admin vendors and the admin budget — the entire back-of-house function that today sits partly with HR.

You'll be the single point of accountability for the physical and administrative environment at Rekise, so that engineering teams can focus on building world-class autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities
A. Facilities & Infrastructure
• Corporate & Multi-location Facilities:Run day-to-day operations for office and facility spaces with a zero-downtime mindset. Standardize processes across all offices and labs. Travel as needed to ensure a consistent experience and quick problem-solving across Bangalore and other locations.
• Manufacturing & Workshop Operations:Oversee setup, maintenance, and compliance of manufacturing/workshop spaces. Ensure availability and readiness of utilities, equipment, and storage areas. Coordinate with engineering teams to support production/testing needs. Implement best practices for workplace safety in plant environments.
• Operations & Maintenance:Drive preventive and on-demand maintenance across infrastructure, utilities, and equipment. Keep housekeeping, pantry, and support services consistent, reliable, and startup-lean. Ensure calibration, AMC renewals, and compliance for facility equipment.
• Safety & Compliance:Own workplace safety, security, and compliance across corporate and plant sites. Conduct safety checks, audits, and emergency drills. Ensure statutory compliance for manufacturing, fire safety, and environmental norms.
• New Facility Setup & Expansion:Plan and execute new site fitouts end to end — layout and equipment zoning, utility and electrical load planning, contractor selection, safety provisioning, and every NOC and approval in place before occupancy.

B. Administration
• Travel & Accommodation: Own the end-to-end travel desk — domestic and international bookings, hotels, visas, forex and local transport, including field, trial and deployment travel for teams at coastal sites. Manage the travel agency relationship, enforce the travel policy, and reconcile travel spend and advances with Finance.
• Front Office & Visitor Management: Run reception, gate and access control, and visitor management. Host customer, Navy, investor and partner visits so they run to a professional standard. Maintain visitor logs, access records, and security staffing and their SLAs.
• Workspace, Seating & Asset Administration: Own seating allocation and space planning across sites, workstation and furniture provisioning, ID and access cards, and the non-IT asset register — tagging, issue and return, reconciliation, insurance and disposal. Partner with HR and IT so onboarding, transfers and exits are seamless.
• Employee Services & Workplace Experience: Own pantry, cafeteria, drinking water, housekeeping, transport and parking allocation, courier and dispatch, stationery, and uniform/PPE issue. Be the go-to person for keeping the workplace productive, safe and welcoming, and turn recurring complaints into permanent fixes.
• Admin Vendors, Contracts & Documentation: Build strong relationships with vendors and contractors across facilities and admin services; keep them accountable. Negotiate smartly to balance cost, speed, and quality. Manage renewals, service agreements, and vendor SLAs without delays. Maintain lease and rent agreements, utility accounts, insurance renewals, trade licence and shops & establishments registrations, and a clean admin document repository.
• Events, Offsites & Internal Logistics: Deliver the logistics for town halls, offsites, launch and trial events, customer and investor visits, and meeting and conference room operations — on budget and without last-minute scrambles.
• Budgets & Reporting: Manage the combined facilities and admin budget smartly  keep costs lean without cutting corners. Track and optimize spend across multiple locations, service types and vendors. Report on facility health, admin SLAs, risks and improvements with a startup lens.

Required Qualifications
•  5-10 years of experience managing corporate and/or manufacturing facilities together with the general administration function, with demonstrated success in multi-location operations.
•  Proven track record in handling both office environments and industrial/workshop facilities.
•  Direct ownership of core admin services, travel and accommodation, front office and visitor management, seating and asset allocation, transport, housekeeping and employee services as an owner, not as a coordinator routing work elsewhere.
•  Strong operational skills with the ability to adapt to startup pace and changing priorities.
•  Knowledge of safety, compliance, and statutory requirements for offices and workshops including fire safety, environmental norms, and manufacturing regulations.
•  Working knowledge of admin statutory and commercial documentation, lease and rent agreements, shops & establishments and trade licence registrations, utility accounts and insurance renewals.
•  Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and maintaining service level agreements.
•  Budget management experience with ability to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
•  Service orientation — treats employees as internal customers and is measured on their experience of the workplace.
•  Problem-solver who thrives on ownership and can "just get it done" mentality.
•  Good with numbers (budgeting) and great with people (collaboration).
•  Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience
•  Experience in robotics, hardware, manufacturing, or defense sectors—understanding of complex inventory management and long production cycles.
•  Prior experience in startup environments (Series A-B stage preferred) with rapid scaling operations.
•  Experience with ERP systems for facilities, admin and maintenance management, and with travel or expense management platforms.
•  Understanding of cleanroom operations, controlled environments, or specialized lab facilities.
•  Track record of successfully setting up new facilities or expanding existing operations.
•  Experience managing facilities and admin across different cities with minimal supervision.
•  Experience hosting government, defense or institutional customer visits and managing site access and security protocols.
