System Engineering Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Systems Engineering Intern to support our satellite development programs. This role is ideal for a graduate trainee or a 3rd/4th-year student who wants hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of a satellite mission - from requirements definition through integration and review.

Qualifications

• Graduate Trainee, or currently in 3rd/4th year of study.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills

• Exposure to MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) tools.
• Familiarity with the NASA/INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook.
• Understanding of the satellite project lifecycle and key milestone reviews (PDR, CDR, MRR, etc.).
• Working knowledge of satellite subsystems (power, thermal, structures, communications, payload, etc.).
• Basic understanding of orbital mechanics and the space environment.
• Exposure to requirements definition and trade studies.
• Ability to integrate multiple subsystems into a coherent functional satellite design.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with STK or MATLAB is a plus.
• Strong documentation skills, with attention to detail and clarity in technical write-ups.

Nice-to-Have/Domain Skills

• Awareness of international space standards (ISO, ECSS or NASA standards).
• Familiarity with ITU regulations for satellite communications.
• Basic project management skills.
