Research Associate– R&D
Location: Electronic Co-operative Industrial Estate, Parvati Paytha, Pune

About Us: Serigen is an innovation-driven tissue generation products company founded with the vision to become a global leader in biomedical devices. We are seeking a proactive and Research Associate to support senior team members in new product development.
Key Responsibilities:
Serigen is looking for a professional to plan and implement all R&D activities for its various product lines.
* Design and conduct the experiments, testing, analysis of data for existing and new products
* Assist in procurement of materials, report writing, manuscript writing, proposal writing, etc.
* Contribute towards production of high-quality medical devices for clinical investigations
* Develop & standardize protocols for new product development, testing, quality control etc.
* Documentation of research and development activities / records in alignment with the ISO 13485 requirements.
* Work with production team to scale-up and standardize production protocols
* Train and mentor research trainees
* Maintain log of chemicals and other consumables used for research and development activities.
* General maintenance of/adherence to laboratory discipline in day-to-day work.
* Any other responsibilities decided/asked by your supervisor Eligibility criteria:
* Educational backgrounds include (but are not limited to) B-Tech Plus 2 years of experience/ M.Tech/ Fresh PhD in Polymer Engg. / Materials Science and Engg. / Chemical Engg./Chemistry or any other allied fields
* Scientific understanding of biomaterials for research and development is a must
