Job DescriptionWe are seeking a SAR Analyst to join our geospatial team. The role centers on the technical processing, analysis, and interpretation of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery across various imaging modes and constellations. Core responsibilities involve executing radar signal processing workflows, interferometric phase analysis and polarimetric analysis. The position requires a sound theoretical foundation and applied knowledge in optical remote sensing, stereo-photogrammetry, GNSS data processing, geospatial analytics, programming, and machine learning to support multi-sensor data fusion and technical analysis.  Job Responsibilities1-    SAR Processing and Analysis:·        Process and analyze SAR imagery from various SAR platforms and modes to generate fundamental SAR products.·        Execute EM backscatter modelling, SAR signal processing workflows and polarimetric analysis.·        Perform differential InSAR (DInSAR) and multi-temporal interferometric time-series processing using Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI) and Small Baseline Subset (SBAS) algorithms. ·        Perform Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (DInSAR) processing to measure and analyze surface displacement. ·        Apply phase filtering, coherence estimation, and two-dimensional phase unwrapping methods ·        Perform geocoding, radiometric terrain correction (RTC), and orthorectification of radar-derived outputs to ensure spatial accuracy.  2-    Data Extraction and Interpretation: ·        Integrate SAR outputs with optical remote sensing imagery, stereo-photogrammetry surfaces, GNSS observations, and standard GIS vector/raster layers.  ·        Apply machine learning methods and automated algorithms for spatial feature classification, pattern detection, and parameter retrieval. ·        Perform quality assessment, uncertainty analysis, and cross-validation of processed radar products against external reference data.  3-    Project Support:·        Prepare technical documentation, methodology workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and analytical reports.·        Develop modular scripts and automated processing routines to optimize data pipelines. ·        Track advancements in radar signal processing, remote sensing algorithms, and machine learning techniques through relevant technical literature and documentation.   4-    Technical Skills:·        Comprehensive knowledge of optical remote sensing, stereo-photogrammetry, geospatial analysis, GNSS data processing, advanced programming, and machine learning. ·        Proficiency in standard SAR processing software (e.g., SNAP, SARscape, GAMMA, ISCE, PolSARpro).·        Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) for spatial analysis, data integration, and visualization of complex SAR results. ·        Advanced programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for scripting, data analysis, machine learning model deployment, and developing custom SAR processing workflows. ·        Demonstrated Familiarity with data handling and management techniques for large geospatial datasets. ·        Familiarity with data handling and management techniques for large geospatial datasets.
