Areas of Responsibility

• Own hardware architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making.

• Lead schematic, PCB, power, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and component selection activities.

• Drive board bring-up, debugging, integration, qualification, and compliance testing.

• Interface with customers, vendors, manufacturing partners, and cross-functional teams.

• Manage project schedules, risks, deliverables, and resource planning.

• Ensure production readiness through DFM/DFT reviews and manufacturing support.

• Own technical documentation including specifications, BOMs, verification reports, and compliance records.

Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and drive engineering best practices.

Experience.

·         10+ years of hardware design and development experience.

·         Experience in embedded, industrial, transportation, telecom, or safety-critical systems.

·         Railway/transportation domain experience.

·         Functional Safety standards (EN50126/28/29), SIL-based development.

·         Mechanical enclosure integration, system engineering, and vendor management.

·         Strong ownership and accountability.

·         Technical decision-making and problem-solving skills.

·         Customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.

·         Cross-functional collaboration and team mentoring.

·         On-time delivery of customer commitments.

·         High-quality hardware releases with first-pass success.

·         Effective risk management and issue resolution.
