Responsibilities:
* Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes to meet the requirements on quality, delivery & cost.
* Add new suppliers to vendor base & asses existing supplier capabilities.
* Work closely with the machining suppliers & prove developmental parts. Be the bridge between external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.
* Provide technical expertise w.r.t CNC machining, work closely with design team to quickly realize the parts.
* Track & monitor the progress and ensure the full kit is received from the suppliers in line with production plan.
* Help in costing/estimation & order finalization of new parts/components.
* Identify improvement areas internally as well as perform closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions.
* Monitor and give feedback to suppliers through scorecard to Key Performance Indicators on day-to-day activities.
Competencies Required:
* Thorough Knowledge of GD&T
* Clear Drawing understanding
* Strong Knowledge of fabrication, machining process and special process
* Good Negotiation skills
* Computer proficiency
* Expert communication skills
Qualification Required:
Diploma/Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Needed:
4-5 Years of Experience in relevant field
