We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience in handling large-scale IT systems, managing Government projects would be a plus.
##### Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying IT solutions for government projects.
* Ensure alignment with security protocols and compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and roadmaps.
* Oversee software development, infrastructure management, and system integrations.
* Drive innovation, implement best practices, and optimize processes for efficiency and scalability.
* Manage budgets, timelines, and ensure optimal utilization of resources to ensure successful project execution.
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for skill development
* Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance project outcomes
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
* Architectural Design and implement software architectures, ensuring scalability,performance, and security.
* Troubleshoot technical issues, identify and implement solutions, and ensure systems meet requirement. Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and optimization strategies
##### Key Skills and Requirements :
* 8+ years of experience in software development.
* Strong expertise in enterprise IT solutions, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and system architecture.
* Familiarity with procurement processes, government IT policies, and compliance standards (preferably)
* Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Python, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
* Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills
